REAL ESTATE TECHNOLOGY & INTERNET STOCKS The emergence of real estate technology and Internet companies (RETICs), especially those that are publicly traded, signals a new era in real estate. In August of 1999, four RETICs had initial public offerings, a few such companies had become public with the last year, and IPO's of more such firms are expected soon. This report briefly covers the current technology trends these new real estate and related companies utilize. Further, it discusses real estate technology stocks, summarizes emerging companies and discusses other technologies influencing real estate.
